## About the Team

Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Ground Systems Engineer to support our Launch team. Do you want to revolutionize space travel in New Space? Then you've come to the right place.

## Your Tasks

- Develop systems for different RFA sites, both for launch and for test application

- Oversee the full design life cycle of the systems, from conceptual design to implementation and operation

- Perform sizing calculations on fluid and mechanical systems

- Generate and maintain P&IDs, design documentation and reports

- Bring systems into action during the commissioning phase

- Work with colleagues from different departments across RFA

- Work with external stakeholders and industry partner

## Your Qualifications

- BSc or MSc Degree in an engineering or physics field

- 3+ years’ experience in test site, launch site, or industrial plant development

- Hands-on, operational experience in either of these fields is a plus

- Strong background in pressure system design and fluid mechanics

- Experience using NX or similar 3D CAD software

- Experience with HAZOP or a similar form of risk analysis

- Experience with industrial sensors and control systems

- Experience with cryogenic systems is a plus

- Willingness to travel to different launch or test sites

- Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)

- Intermediate or advanced level German is a plus

- Capable of working independently, while prioritising various tasks

- Able to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
