The mission of the role

Run the Missions LoB operating system and secure high-priority outcomes for the business across our functions. This means 1) owning the business rhythm, keeping information current and accessible, and building the tooling that makes the LoB faster to manage, and 2) supporting high-priority Missions LoB development initiatives.

ICEYE delivers space-based ISR capabilities to governments and allied nations, using the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. Partners use it to detect and respond to changes anywhere on Earth, day or night, in any weather.

ICEYE operates from offices in Finland, Poland, Spain, Japan, the UAE, Greece, and the US, with over 1000 employees. The Missions Line of Business is the largest and fastest-growing part of the company.

Expected outcomes & competences

Outcomes

1. Missions LoB monthly meeting and business rhythm produced end-to-end in close collaboration with key stakeholders

2. OKR development and tracking support, mid-quarter status checks, and upward reporting (QBR, CLT, BoD) maintained with no manual data chasing

3. At least 3 manual LoB workflows automated or materially faster; Missions KPI dashboard live in our OKR tool in collaboration with stakeholders; quarterly diagnostic of where the LoB is losing time or clarity to identify the next automation targets

4. Missions documentation hygiene owned: Confluence pages current for employees and new joiners, access rights managed, external overview presentations and one-pagers kept consistent and up to date

5. Short-cycle strategic and analytical projects owned to accelerate and scale Missions LoB core topics, e.g. in sales, product or execution

• Operational follow-through: Proven track record of closing loops and delivering on commitments without being chased

• Strong communication that drives action: Produces written and verbal outputs - slides, reports, recommendations - that senior audiences can act on without heavy rework

• Synthesis under pressure: Demonstrated ability to take messy, multi-source information, structure problems before diving into solutions, and produce a structured output quickly - especially under time or ambiguity constraints

• AI-native curiosity: Demonstrable habit of adopting GenAI tools to accelerate own output; quick to learn; comfortable building or leading the build of new tooling

• Cross-functional coordination: Gets information from and aligns senior stakeholders without escalation - demonstrated in contexts with no formal authority

• Operational foresight: Anticipates where the LoB is heading toward inefficiency or friction before it becomes a problem, and drives the changes needed to fix it
