#### **PCBA Technician**

As a PCBA Technician at Astranis, you'll be working in a fast paced environment supporting avionics, power, and payload systems. You'll be building and testing a wide variety of circuit boards, harnesses, and other test equipment. You'll work on R&D and production systems with the engineering teams, debugging whichever issues show up that day.

#### **Role**

- Rework, assemble, and debug printed circuit board assembly's (PCBAs)

- Inspect incoming boards to IPC-610 Class 2/3 standards

- Apply, remove, and rework conformal coating, staking, and other polymeric adhesives

- Lead form components to match engineering footprints and drawings

- Work with cross functional engineering team to support new developments

- Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document future activities

#### **Requirements**

- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- 2+ years of experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries

- Electrical rework and soldering skills (0201 components)

- Wire crimping and harness assembly

- Familiarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc) for enclosure assembly

- Excellent attention to detail

- Must be onsite 5 days a week

#### **Bonus**

- A.S. electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering technology or equivalent technical programs

- J-STD-001 certification

- Experience working in a clean room environment

- Experience working with electrical schematics and PCB design files, especially in Altium

- Experience working with EE bench test equipment (power supplies, multimeters)

- Advanced soldering and rework skills (BGA or similar high density packages)
