Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Material Quality Engineer (m/f/d). This is your opportunity to be closely involved in the challenging manufacturing of Engine Parts, implementing and monitor production quality standards and quality tests for the Engine Parts. Your Tasks
- Monitor and supervise quality measurements for additive manufacturing (AM) parts.
- Oversee the quality of manufacturing processes.
- Write and review quality documentation.
- Implement new quality standards as per the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS).
- Ensure the maintenance, calibration, and safety compliance of measuring instruments and test benches.
- Coordinate the efforts of interns.
- Take responsibility for the quality of your own work.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality standards in metal additive manufacturing and high personal quality standards.
- Experience in print parameter development is advantageous.
- Self-initiative and strong communication skills.
- Good understanding of aerospace industry practices.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- German language skills are a plus but not required.
- Result-oriented and structured approach to work.
